EMC Documentum File Share Services allows organizations to access the EMC Documentum repository with a lightweight client from both Windows and Macintosh environments.

File Share Services supports drag-and-drop access, double-clicking on content and launching it directly into the native application that created it, versioning, locking, caching and content commit capabilities (automatic, manual, or scheduled), and metadata access directly from a user's deskop. It has also been specifically certified for QuarkXPress and Adobe InDesign page layout tools, Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop and Ilustrator), Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
